Luxor Temple
The southern temple,
dedicated to Amon. it was Known to the ancient Egyptians
as Ipet reseyet, the Harem of the south. The entrance is
a huge pylon built by ramses || and has two seated
statues of the king. originally there was two large
obelisks stood in the front of the pylon. One of them
was transferred to ( Place de la Concorde ) in France. |
